It sounds like you can get sixty coins from breeding every four hours and that is easiest achieved by breeding pandakens. For gathering food and gold, you need to gather more to earn the same amount of points as you level higher and higher, but PvP points are the same.
You can earn coins by gathering gold and food, breeding monsters, and PvP. You automatically receive 315 coins, although sometimes it seems like they take a while to show up.
